Elver D. Needles, 94, of Baker City, died Nov. 25, 2002, at St. Elizabeth Health Services.
Graveside services will be held Friday at noon at Mount Hope Cemetery. Pastor Lura Kidner-Miesen of Baker City United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will follow at the cemetery.
Visitations will be Friday from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. at Gray’s West & Company Pioneer Chapel, 1500 Dewey Ave.
Elver was born July 19, 1908, to Dennis and Leona (Hooker) Needles in Boise. He worked as a night foreman at the Ellingson Sawmill for 23 years.
Elver is survived by his wife, Nellie, of Baker City; a brother, Charles, of Eagle, Idaho; and numerous nieces and nephews.
