Joe Reynolds, a Grouse Flats farmer, died of leukemia Tuesday, Sept. 1, 1992, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center at Lewiston, Idaho. He was 67.
He was born April 13, 1925, at Walla Walla, Wash., the son of Earl and Pansy Reynolds. He attended high school in Anatone.
Mr. Reynolds moved to Grouse Flats in 1937. He worked for the U.S. Forest Service and also logged while farming there.
On Jan. 6, 1947, he married Coralie Woodward of Lewiston, Idaho.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and horseback riding.
Besides his wife Coralie at, their home on Grouse Flats, he is survived by two daughters, Nancy Johnson of Clarkston, Wash. And Debbra Reynolds of Troy; two sons, Dan Reynolds of Troy and Darrell Reynolds of Lostine; his mother, Pansy Wickham of Milton-Freewater; one brother, Gordon Reynolds of Ione, Wash.; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A brother, Forest Reynolds, a sister, Pansy Lee Reynolds, a granddaughter and a great-grandson died earlier.
Graveside services were held Sunday at the Bartlett Union Cemetery on Grouse Flats.
The family asks that memorials in his memory be made to the cancer society.
